Project & Institutional Finance

Support for financing enquiries for builders, construction projects, hospitals, hotels, schools, colleges and other institutional or project-based requirements — including where a conventional route may not fit the project's circumstances.

Role disclosureAFC is an independent finance consultancy, not a bank, NBFC or lender. We do not lend, sanction or disburse funds — we facilitate financing enquiries and introductions to potentially relevant lenders, subject to their own independent assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about this service

Why might a lender decline or delay a project that appears fundable?

A project can encounter financing difficulties for many reasons, including documentation, title or approval issues, project economics, promoter contribution, existing obligations, security requirements or lender policy. An independent lender makes the final decision after its own assessment.

Can a first-time hospital or hotel promoter obtain project finance?

A first-time promoter may be considered by some financing institutions, depending on the project's feasibility, promoter capability, contribution, approvals and security. There is no automatic entitlement to funding based on the project type.

How is construction finance disbursed?

Depending on the facility, disbursement may be staged against construction progress or other agreed conditions. The lender determines the applicable milestones, inspection requirements and documentation before each disbursement.

What collateral might a project lender require?

Requirements vary by lender and transaction. Possible security may include project land or property, the financed asset, additional collateral, guarantees or assignment of receivables, as determined by the relevant institution.
