Private Equity & Capital Markets

Support for businesses exploring private equity, venture capital, strategic investment, IPO-related assistance and real-estate capital-market structures — matched introductions, not mass investor outreach.

Role disclosureAFC is an independent finance consultancy, not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or underwriter. We do not invest our own funds, make investment decisions or guarantee a capital raise or listing — we facilitate introductions to potentially relevant investors and professional institutions, subject to their own independent assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about this service

How is this different from approaching investors myself?

Introductions are based on the information provided about the business, sector, stage and capital requirement. The purpose is to identify potentially relevant counterparties rather than distribute the same proposal indiscriminately. The investor independently decides whether to engage.

What makes a company suitable for an IPO route?

IPO eligibility depends on the applicable SEBI, stock-exchange and other regulatory requirements, together with the company's financial, legal, governance and structural circumstances. The SME and mainboard routes have different eligibility and listing frameworks. Current eligibility should be confirmed with the company's appointed qualified advisers.

Do I need audited financials before approaching investors?

Requirements vary by investor and stage. Early discussions may begin with management information, but investors and professional advisers may require audited financial statements, projections, tax records and ownership information as due diligence progresses.

What is a REIT and could my property portfolio qualify?

A REIT is a regulated structure for qualifying real-estate assets. Whether a particular portfolio qualifies depends on the assets, ownership arrangement, income characteristics, valuation and applicable regulations. A qualified adviser should determine whether the proposed structure meets the requirements.
