Corporate Finance and Business Funding FAQ

Common questions on funding, eligibility and how the process works, gathered in one place.

How long does a corporate funding enquiry typically take?

There is no fixed timeline. Processing time depends on the completeness of documentation, complexity of the transaction, due diligence, legal review and the internal process of the relevant lender or investor.

Is a minimum turnover or credit rating required?

Requirements vary by lender and transaction type. Some lenders set formal eligibility thresholds; others assess each proposal on its specific facts. There is no single universal requirement.

Can a newer company access ₹5 Cr+ funding?

It depends on the transaction, available security, promoter background and the lender's own risk appetite. A limited operating history makes some routes harder, but does not automatically rule out structured or asset-backed financing.

What if the funding requirement changes after the initial enquiry?

Updated information can generally be shared as the requirement evolves. Significant changes to the amount, purpose or structure may affect which lenders or routes remain relevant, so it is worth flagging changes as early as possible.
